Where do you play?
We are based in Surrey and operate anywhere within the UK.
What kind of events do you play?
Soul Calibre primarily play wedding receptions, parties and corporate events and will happily consider anything you may have in mind.
Do you do special song requests?
Yes, you’re welcome to request a particular song or dedication for your event. Be sure to check with us beforehand, with as much notice as possible, for the best chance of your chosen song being performed on the night.
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes, the band supply their own PA and lighting.
Do you provide a DJ?
We are happy to provide a sequence of continuous recorded music between sets, or you may prefer to compile and supply your own selection, for playing on an mp3 player e.g. iPod. Most clients find that there is no need for a DJ.
Are you fully insured?
The band are covered by the Musicians Union £10m Public Liability insurance, giving you one less thing to worry about! All our electronic equipment is PAT tested. Certificates for these can be shown on request.
How long do you require to setup?
In most cases, an hour is sufficient. This includes the unloading and installation of all gear, assembly of the PA and lighting, and a final sound-check. We usually arrive to set up at 6pm, however can can offer an earlier set up but this could effect the quote.
Can we see you play before we book you?
This is not always possible as the vast majority of our gigs are private bookings. However, we occasionally arrange public events to promote the band and raise a little money for charity. If you’d like to come along and see us, please get in touch to see if we have any events coming up.
How do we book you?
Simply send details of your event via the website and we’ll get back to you with a quote as soon as possible. We require a deposit of 10% of the quoted fee to secure the booking.
